Stopped for a photo last Saturday somewhere north of Santa Barbara while fueling up.
It was a good trip - car had lot sof a power when I wanted it.
However, by the time that I got down to San Diego, I had a LOT of wear on my rear sidewalls

Now the task is to stiffen up the rear suspension.
I have Bilstein Touring shocks, that my aunt installed approx ~100k ago.

If that's the culprit, a pair of Billy Sports should probably set me right ,as I have ZERO problems in the front..
(Those are Billy Sports struts paired Eibach prokit springs).

Anyhow at the moment driving the car has become very impractical.
I'm actively looking for a free(?) set of bottle caps to throw on just so I could use the car with the peace of mind until I can afford to fix the suspension.

Cary mentioned that some stiff H&R racers would do the trick paired with some fat spring pads in the rear.

If anyone in SD has some bcaps with tires or 14" or 15" 5-lug wheels that are taking up space at their place, I being the broke student that I am would surely love to have them!

Nice pics. Wassup with the Texas plates? Did he buy it down there? And how much did he purchase it for? By the way the wheels look good on both cars!

For now, I'm thinking of doing the following:
                                • Stiffer springs, will probably entail dropping it slightly more
                                • Touch up paint on front fender, bumper, center panel
                                • Authentic French Smiley Headlamps from my good friend in France
                                • Natur iS leatherette Sport seats
                                • Install E30 M3 CABS (have been procrastinating this for a several years now)
                                • New front speakers (these barely get any sound...they suck)
                                • Rear Headrests (still on the fence about it)

That's probably about it. My biggest concern is to turn it back into a fully capable "drivers car".

This serious rubbing issue in the rear is taking away from the car's fun.

Yeah, I almost flew down to pick it up with him too. It's super clean.

Thank you! I enjoy the subtle amount of lip they have, nice to look at from afar.
