Early E30's FTW. Small tail lights are compensated by the ability to run fatter tires, and lower. I like the small tails anyway, so win-win.

full mtech 1 > full mtech 2 IMHO

    Keep it slideways!!

I prefer the smaller tails as well. The smoked ones only look good on the small tails, IMHO. And Mtech 1 = the ballz.

You have an early car with euro bumpers and you like the later plastic cars. Ugghhhh, you are killing this '87, euro bumper lusting, owner! :-)

cept us cabbies. small tails, low arches :( Only thing I'd prefer is the higher arches on my cabby - I love the smaller tails. Less volvo, more m3-like ;)

              Definately a nice looking eta.

Whats the difference between the "new" IE springs and the old ones? I haven't heard anything about them being changed.

              RISING EDGE

Let's drive fast and have fun.

that is a very good question. However, when i went through the e30 ride height thread and seen people with teh same setup and early model as me, their "older" versions look a lot more lower then what i have for some reason...........So i figured the newer versions have been raised up a bit. I also hear people mentioning older and newer version ie springs being diff. in ride height. i dont fuckin know :( I'm dissapointed with it in a sense, but it still handles well.

Sorry etajohn, i know i'm taking my car for granted. However, the only reason why i also want another car is cuz i want a clean title car.... :/

I think it's because your car is lighter. Euro cars are usually a bit lighter on their feet than US cars - see 318driver's car. My 85 euro looked like it was 4 wheeling for crying out loud. This could attest to the difference in height...

r u implying that my car is euro based? my car is a u.s. model.

Oh? Interesting - didn't know that. You didn't mention swapping/adding euro bumps, so I figured it was a euro/grey market.

Well, the euro bumps are lighter - I believe they're even lighter than the plastics. This may have an affect on the height.

No, the weight difference has an insignificant effect on ride height. Strip out the tar mat in your trunk if you want the rear to lift up a bit. jeebus, when i did that i raised the back end like 3" or more!!! Was able to spin 'em like nothin lol.

"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.

                          You're right. I like M-tech 1 cars over M-tech 2.

I don't like the smoked early E30 tails. They look goofy.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Looks great! I would do an exhaust upgrade & kill the badging in the back for a much cleaner look.

funny thing is, i took out the tar in the back, but i put the tar back in the car for that pic (long story) and that's how it sits
