Boxes say/show alot of things. You seen what fast food looks like in commercials? When is the last time what you ordered looked anything alike?

Unless the glass is crystal clear then it is a blue ricer bulb.

        Looks blue coated to me.

i don't mind those sort of lights common on the new Audis, BMWs...

edit: unless this is totally different. whatever.

disconnect the parking light circuit to the front turn signals too. Your citylights in the low beam housings have that job now.

there's been several group buys on real Silverstars on r3v. what do you mean you couldn't get any?

regardless, they look okay. I'd rather have plain old 55w H1 bulbs than blue ricer specials though.

also, I'd just leave your turn signals alone. city lights aren't exactly very bright. but then again I'm one of those nutters who doesn't mind the sidemarkers..

my choice in bulbs was either these philips or the sylvania silver stars which i think showed more blue. the guy that was selling them has to wait a month or something cause they were on back order. and there were no plain h1's i could get my hands on.

for the front signals, i haven't really noticed to care much about it.
but the lights are a definite improvement over sealed.

                      here's the un edited picture.

You're telling me all the auto parts stores around you only sell blue coated bulbs, and no normal clear replacement bulbs?

I guess it's not that hard to believe, finding H1 or H3 bulbs around here is pretty tough. that's why I have 2 sets of silverstars sitting on the shelf as backups.. :)

Guys, go to a motorcycle shop, or any euro parts store. LOTS of bulbs, including H1 bulbs with higher wattage ratings.
