thanks guys! the i lip is indeed my "winter mode". my rieger lip is currently in the garage, need to repaint it before I put it back on.
I also agree that my rear valance needs help, it looks even worse with the rieger lip up front.. been thinking of doing an mtech 2 rear valance or something. realistically the whole car needs repainted, but I don't really want to do any major body work until I own a house with a garage to park it in. sterling silver also hides the flaws on my car, like the 5-6 dents on the hood, scratches and rock chips everywhere.. but it still shines :)
right now the focus is on my drivetrain. next year I'd like to recover my seats, after that the only thing left will be paint.
thanks for the props on the pics TJ.. I was shooting with a Sony mavica FD90, I've had the camera for ages so I know it well.. it's a little tough shooting in low light with this camera (I was hoping to get more of the car too), and only getting 5 pics per floppy (yes, I said floppy) means I don't get a lot of retakes! eventually I'll get a new one, but this thing just won't die.
and yes, it was pretty damn cold out there.. but compared to the day before, it was like tropical heat!Comment

Wow, 5 pics :) Thats funny. I picked up a 2gb card for my camera!
I feel you on the body mods. My car needs a repaint too but I don't think its worth the money... the car looks great, and its 16 years old for crying out loud. It doesn't need to be perfect. But I might be able to get a pair of iX skirts and flares for free, I'd love to put them on my car. I jus think it might look wierd with flares with fresh paint resting over my horribly oxidized rear quarter panels.Comment

i dunno dude... i think you ought to just keep your car exactly how it is... maybe try some skirts, but it looks so clean as it is... nando's car is an IX so its a package a i guess.. i just don't see it looking as good on your carPNW Crew

Yeah, if I don't get those IX skirts I will probably get a set of Eurstyle's skirts. They are only $205 shipped to the US.Comment

the problem with ix skirts on a non-ix, especially a slammed car, is you'll be tucking rim in the back and most of your tire in the front. my car really isn't very low, the skirts just hide some of the height.
the thing about sterling is it will go to shit really fast if you don't take care of it. my car is actually on it's second paint job, you can see where it oxidized horribly in the places they didn't repaint (like my front and rear valances, ugh).Comment

Damn nice pictures and a really nice car.

Beautiful pictures, beautiful car! I really like them all, although I think the second picture would have been even sweeter if there were no trees behind the front of the car... so we could just see the silhouette of the car against the water in the background. Still these are magnificent pictures! If you have any more don't keep them to yourself!!Comment
