    Saved from a horrible fate.

My first E30. Bought it from a friend (w/o the wheels) for 1/2K two years ago. He was going to donate it or sell it to a pull-a-part, who;s knows what could've happened to her. New clutch and Bilstiens and it was ready to go. Put some new sticky shoes on her and bigger sway bars (new springs on the way). What a difference, had to learn how to drive her again. Got some great roads out by the coast that are just a blast to wind through. Girlfriend tools those nice shots.
Currently got the engine out for rebuild. Any thoughts on cams would be greatly appreciated. Really love revvvvvving her, and that music from the tailpipe is outstanding!

Good job saving another e30 from death. Looks a thousand times better than my e30, I can't believe someone would want to scrap it.

It was his daily driver for about 10 years, lots of miles. Don't think he quite new what he had. I know, I had know idea what I was buying. Thinking it was some import econo car. After getting her running again, the E30 bug bit me hard. Just bought another one, only two months older on the build date, 'cause I miss driving it so much.

It'll be a while. Only took a few photos on the road trip. Now it's tore apart for the motor rebuild and other upgrades. Need to get that wheel gap gone and get it ready for the mountain roads next spring.

Looks like a great start, I look forward to seeing where you go with it.

Agreed. My dad practically gave his z3 away to my buddy because he didn't want to fix a rip in the driver's seat. It would've gone to the junkyard for sure.

It's a 325i. I shadow lined it. The chrome seemed really bright on the black, so I wanted to see how the shadow line looked. Really like it so I'll leave it on. Need to paint the grill to freshen it up, but I think I'll leave the kidneys chrome, don't want to much black. Windows are too dark, going to retint. I'll get some interior pictures soon. It has the fabric interior, comfort seats. Typical driver seat and carpet wear. Bought a wrecked "is", the interior will go into the "i". The sport seats are very comfortable for me.

Really need some advice on a new cam for the motor. Have to run the car through DEQ here. So, I want get the most for high range torque/power but still able to pass emissions.
