my personal favorite car of the gtg. a properly swapped early model with late bumpers and late valence. loved the wheels, proper tires. THIS car made me really miss my car







and the car I rode in since my car is still in Seattle


Its my buddies car. We missed the caravan so we took our own route and hit some nice twisties instead of sitting on the freeway the whole time.






I cant wait for Vintage, my E30 will be there to join you guys!

Lol. Thank you. And really, it was my pleasure man. But it wasnt just me. I had plenty of help.

I have a lot of fun organizing events like this. The only outcome I worry about it making sure people have a good time. At the end of the event, I don't care if I'm in the hole $500, so long as everyone had a great time.

This was only the third year of what I think will be a very long-lived annual event. So stay tuned for the years to come.

Undr8d_Empire: A Few Shots from the 2013 SoCal E30 Car-B-Q

Hi Guys,

So once again the 805 crew threw another amazing E30 Car-B-Q in Ventura county, bringing us back to the days of Bimmerfest when it was in Santa Barbara! While not on quite the same scale, this year had a similar feel to the last BFest in SB. The awesome caravan from SFV, the amazing location, great weather, and fun times with good people, there's not much more you can ask for from an event!

BIG thanks to Taylor (E30_fiend) for organizing this event, along with Garrett (greanthumb) and everyone else involved.

I apologize if I didn't take pics of many of you or your cars, I wasn't there to cover the event. I don't have time or energy to cover events, and post processing the pics the right way is too time consuming when you take over 1,000 shots. Either way, hope you guys enjoy the pics!

i had a good time best thing was the drive there...only complains are that the raffle started kind of late, I had to leave around 2:40 to pick up my sick doggie. Also people smoking weed knowing kids were around. the location was great...first time driving my car this far, made it no issues whatsoever other than my cracked alt belt, and bald tires lol

I apologize for the late start on the raffle. It was, unknown to me, delayed about an hour later than I had on my schedule. I had it scheduled for 1:30pm to 2:00pm. Someone pushed the start time back to 2:30 without telling me.

As for the weed. I was ok with it so long as people were being considerate to the people around them. Next year I will make a point to ask these people to go away from the main area to smoke. That way it will not bother anyone or anyone's children.

I encourage people to raise their complaints about the event so that next year, I can make the necessary changes to make sure the issues are taken care of. But its great to hear you had good time and I'm glad you're car made the trip without issue!
