Here are some pics of the "winter beater" again. Gave the M some love last week, so I decided I should show some for my real transportation. Well, I guess I should start with the MOD that I did today.--thanks MAX!! Finally got an M tech I front, and painted it Sun., so I put it on today.
some of the other mods are M tech I rear wing delete/replaced with IS one.
U.S. grills!! haha! I actually like them more being as I am in germany and they are different, kinda makes the car look like its scared of something with wide open eyes.
U.S. ellips- damn they suK!!! feel bad for those of you that dont have euro ellips. I always thought you guys were full of it, but these lights cant even compare to the euro ones in light output.
removed M tech II st. wheel-got me a ghey steering wheel"kinda like a gokart thing" sux also!
so besides the M tech I front- Alpina is away for the winter- all my mods suk balz!
ohh, and my right front wheel bearing is screaming like a beeehaattchh as of lately, just turn up the radio some more!

US ellips and Mtec1 for iS wing? I mean, I know it's the opposite there and everyone wants to be USDM, but damn.... the car still looks amazing, but I liked it better with the Mtec1 wing.

Front valence looks great tho.

Its the new fad, U.S. parts on your E30 in germany!! I liked it better 2! but i like the german government off my ass better. needed the cash, so some stuff had to go. I have to get a set of lights, but i sold the ones i had on the car, and had to put something in it- and U.S. was what was laying around.

and honestly, in some ways I like the US grilles... they have a nice thin 'crease' where they meet the hood.

I was last in germany maybe 5 years ago...

the only E30 I saw was a serious ricemobile with 4 people who looked like they were extras from a vanilla ice video shoot.

actually the blanks that are in the valance, are homemade pieces of sheetmetal. I have fog blanks under it in the original valance, but they are painted with that bumpy ruberized crap. I never liked the old skool fronts with the square fogs.

Germans overall thinks E30s are what they are- old cars that suck down a ton of gas, and are expensive to insure. The most germans esp. females think they suk, and that you are a broke ass if you drive one. there is a small e30 following over here, but most of the german kids are switching over to E36s cause you can pick them up for 2-3,000 now.
the old people though, really dig them. back in the days, in germany you knew you made it in life when you could afford a new E30. I get alot of curious old germans asking questions at the gas station. Now anyone can get a newer BMW.
