So does his car have two engines, I noticed he had performance cams? Last time I checked the M20 only had one cam.

Well in this case you're in luck. It shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes to remove all those stickers, m badges, and guages. Add another 10 minutes to swap back on your stock wheels. The best part? It's FREE!

                  And I live nearby.

Jon (EtaSport) told me to avoid him after he met him in Frederick, on Rt. 40 where all the rice hangs out. And his turbo is a home made wonder.

And "Amizzle" you can come to Rockville and we can shoot the shit, no rice allowed. Oh goodness this kid is just crying inside.

And is that a Photoshopped door handle on that one picture? I see you mention that though, so you're cool in my book now....

EDIT: If you have the stomach to watch the "vid 2 street racing" video that is on that link, you'll see even more rediculous E30 rice shit. An E30 with a 3 foot wing versus....a 1991 Cutlass Ciera?! :(

If this was true, then your average 325i with average mods could potentially run the same time as a new Si (I am assuming they run high 14s, if that)?

I am not arguing, I am curious. I always though that the e30 was a mid 15 second car at best. And thats mildly stock.

Any particular examples come to mind, with timeslips perhaps?
the 325is did mid 15s on 1980's 195/65-14 rubber. with a good driver, a well maintained engine and modern tires, I don't think high 14s are out of the question.

FWIW, I just drove my parts car for what will be it's last trip. damn that thing is (was) slow. :P

So how exactly do car enthusiast teams work?

Edit: Major regret from going to 5 lug .... lack of Ronal Bears choices in 5 lug.....

and more importantly, do they have "most valuable player" titles?

Unique.... here is some honest ADVICE admidst all the flaming going on in this thread...

First of all a little background about myself and my history with these guys and this forum...

                              a) I cant stand Jordan and he prolly feels the same way about me... shit, half of the guys on this forum dont like him and especially the guys that I know from the NC area... we dont ALL kiss his ass... what we DO however is recognize taste... which he HAS... his car is a work of art and deserves to be respected as such...

                              b) There are not many people on this forum that like me and/or my oppinions on matters/tastes about E30's. So, in this I can sympathize with you BUT perhaps you should consider that your tastes are not appropriate for this forum. (cont. later)

                              c) There are some basic GROUND RULES that cannot be broken for ANY reason and M stickers/badges, honda rims no matter how cheap you can get them, are a NO NO, and you MUST have a suspension to be anything on this forum... in fact it comes first and foremost above everything else...

We appreciate you sharing your car with us but in all honesty you should PLEASE find another car to mod... your tastes are not compatible with BMW's and never will be. If you MUST have a BMW you would prolly have a little better luck on an e36 board seeing as how there are many more e36 guys that would share a similiar (but not the same) taste as your own.

Now that I have said what SHOULD have been said by some of the more elder members of the forum and because this is OBVIOUSLY a flaming thread I will share what I was truly thinking...

Your car is truly pretty ugly and riced out but is NOT a total loss...

1)the white wheels aren't the best choice for your car but better than A LOT of wheels the guys on this forum like... ie Ronal LS's... 5 star Momo's... the list continues... (cant wait to see the responses to this)
2)the M stickers have to go... you know that by now...
3)You would save yourself a lot of heartache NOT buying the Reiger kit which would only further horrify your car... they are HIDEOUS! There are however some pretty tasteful kits that can be attained for decent prices... do searches in here, and all other bmw forums and you can find just about everything...
4)You need to learn to type... as suggested investment in comm. college classes would be adviseable
                              5) DEFINITELY invest in some driving lessons
6)I'm willing to bet you fall close to this category... Late teen to early 20's single african-american male, listens to rap and hip-hop, been through some form of the correctional system in your life (FUCK COPS anyways), and either still lives at home or lives with 3 or 4 guys in a small rural house...

Now to everyone ELSE that posted in this thread...

TJ... WOW dont think I've EVER seen you go off so hard on someone before... I kinda like it!
