Car is looking awesome. Many people have asked and I cannot find anywhere that you have answered. What products and process did you use on your seats? Keep up the good work.

He said he has been sworn to secrecy and will not elaborate any further on it but he did say it was an old German technique passed down through the scrolls. Damn the Germans, they got all the good shit. =]

That's pretty much the stupidest shit I have ever heard, and this is the internet.

This isn't exactly how I phrased it. My Grandfather has an old friend that used to make shoes and restore old leather furniture, he taught me some techniques to bring back the leather. The process also involves a product very similar to what leatherique offers in the US. There's a restoration business near me that makes a living off this technique, and they kindly asked me not to go into too much detail, so I won't.

with work and another car project, progress on the M3 has been slow lately, but I did manage do to a couple of little things...

new wheels (still on the PO's e36). AC Schnitzer Racing 3Pc in 9x17 and 10x17...

                      what do you think?

and I managed to change the spark plugs... (good thing my tool kit contained the oem spark plug tool)

Lol....why in such a hurry to change? That's funny, I too ran style 5's years ago and went to 17x9 and 10 ACS last year.

I've been slacking on updating this thread. In case anyone was wondering, the M3 has currently taken a back seat to another one of my dream cars added to the stable... a very rare Mercedes W124 500e (you know, the one built by porsche):

the interior before a much needed leather treatment:

                          some first changes:
                          new grille...

                          new staggered 18" AMG's...

much like the e30m3, it's one of those cars I always dreamed of owning. I love the history behind it, and the fact that it pretty much defines understatement...
