Quick something about me; im 21, first got my e30 in 2011. I was never into E30's before i saw mine, but when i passed it for sale back in Santa Rosa, CA I had to have it. it had about 130k and she was pristine and completely stock. Slowly I added a chip and exhaust, then got a deal on some bilstiens and eibach pro springs. Once my tires were shot I got Dunlop z1's and had a fun little car. Besides all of my after I finished school and moved to California adventures I ended up packing everything into the E30 and headed back home to north jersey. My buddies flew out and drove back with me and we did it in 44 hours from door to door. later on That winter i snapped a rocker so i decided to get a Myster-e performance head with a 274 cam and some bigger injectors. Besides the beautiful work that i had done on my head, everything else has been done with my two hands and my own tools. I did the lincoln tech thing and worked in a few shops, but now i'm building mountain bike trails for a living and it isnt too bad.
i've been daily driving her the entire time accept when the head was off, and i had an 800 dollar e36 for that time. But here are some pictures of the car over the past two years since I traded my Chevy cobalt for her.
This is when i brought her home, november 2011

When i lowered it

Got tires and drove down to Monterrey Bay

Santa Cruz

When i got my exhaust

Took a trip up to jenner

all yellow lights got me pulled over too much but i loved the look

Anyways heres some fun stuff

I was too excited to hear it start to take many pictures during the build, but i used oem thicker headgasket and replaced all belts and hoses and distributor also added m50 injectors and stuff. i love the way it drives even a year later. i dont need more power yet mostly because i cant afford it. But i add little things when i can like the z4 shift lever. Lately ive been embracing it though, all her imperfections and things each tell a story at least for me.
