It's removing the metal bumper and the shocks, drilling through each shock and pressing it to squirt out the fluid/goo. It's not hard to do at all, but your diving boards look immaculate and I think it adds character to your car. Keep it like this, and put a late front valence as previously suggested.

yeah ill definitely look into the late valence. but idk man i kinda like the diving boards. i definitely need new leather on the seats. idk if the sport seats are stock on the 325ic? but i have them :) and they are awesome but tey have cracks and the drivers has a rip :( the dash had one crack when i got it. andsince it is new to me i drove it to school today. its 11 dregrees outside and i think it going from cold to heat to freezing again cracked my dash in 2 other places :( but i am going low soon with some bbs rs wheels :)

I'd keep the diving boards like they are, i.e. perfect.

Here's a kit from eBay for your seats. The guy also sells real leather kits.

          Cheers

thats really not that bad of a price! thanks for looking man! i dont know how i feel about the late valence...it just looks weird to me because the front of the car would be so much lower than the rest and that just looks goofy IMO. i might just keep everything the way it is and just go low. gotta keep it classy :) oh and i know they are expensive but i really want a nardi wheel :) i want to keep it as classy as possible. yet modern and stylish. so ill keep the diving boards, not sure about the front valence yet. re paint te trunk and rear bumper. wood grain nardi wheel. bc coils and bbs rs wheels to keep the mesh design like the style 5s but with a modern feel. i think itll make the car look great. probably some smiley headlights too.

i do have a question though... these wheels are 17x10 +15. now i know ill need to do some roll and pull work with some camber up front but besides that should i have any clearance issues? rubbing on coils?

Wow that's a really big plus on the records! As for maintenance timing belt, tensioner, the pin and spring, and the water pump should all be replaced. Don't get the plastic impeller water pump, there not to good, and dont cheap out, do all that stuff i listed! Its every 60k miles or 5 years, which ever comes first! And for tucking your bumpers, might look better but there goes your reinforcement for a crash... And look at my car, it i put a late valance and it looks awesome IMO!

Edit: Just realized my dad has the same color car as you, convertible to. I convinced him to put a late model valance on and he did, currently installed to. If you want pics i could post a few

Nice vert and I love the color also. I say keep the diving boards the way they are. I really like the mounting location of the fog lights. The majority of the factory fogs I've seen on diving boards, the lights were mounted further towards the center of the bumper on each side of the license plate mount. I like them pushed out to the edges of the bumper.

Well i got some new wheels yesterday :)

I traded my wheels that were on my e36 for them straight up with reggie at reggies motorworks. The wheels had a slight bend I didnt know about so I was lucky he didnt ask for cash and trade. Anyway. I cleaned em up before I left.

My dog cholo helped me with that :)

got em all polished up and ready to trade

They wouldve looked alright on the car.lol

New wheels! Esm wheels. Fronts are 16x9 +15 and rears are 16x8 +20. I was reallyyy skeptical about the 8s not fitting right at all because...well c'mon there 8s. But they fit nice! Needs a lot of low tho!

Super happy with the fitment. The 9s in the rear are soooo close to the shock.lol and I did more research on air susspension and I realized that I would basically total my car from all the cutting and welding and fabricating I have to do. So im sticking with coilovers. Maybe down the road when I know ill keep it ill do air suspension but not now!

Doin some work todat. Changed the timing belt, timing belt tensioner, waterpump, thermostat and housing, valve cover gasket, camshaft/crankshaft seals, radiator and coolant hoses. I figured I might as well paint the valve cover/intake manifold/ amd timing belt cover. So I bought aome VHT Wrinkle plus from autozone and now im waiting for it all to dry! Will post pics when everything ia all said and done.

ell some stuff came up so it took a while to get things going again. I got the tires mounted. I whent with 215/40/16 on the rear and 205/40/16 on the steers.

slapped em' on and they look great!

and then before I could go low, I had to get a skid plate. so I whent with the severe duty akid plate. which is amazing by the way. strongest skid plate ive ever seen. and has saved my oil pan soooo many times already. took it to a buddy to instal since I cant weld :(

now for low :) I ordered BC racing coilovers 10k/12k spring rates. buuuuut im going to import alliance this weekend in kentucky and my coils arent in yet. and I want to be low for the event so I had to make it happen. I cut the fronts and hested the rears. now before everyone gives me hell for doing this, I know this a bad idea. I just dont care and did it anyway. it rides really nice until you take it on the highway. haha and indiana roads are horrible so that doesnt help at all. but I was aware of the consequences. it looks good though!

the skid plate sites about an inch off of the ground and hits everything. lol

coils should be in within the next month. and then paint and I gotta fix that messed up leather. do some other little changes and then I should be ready for street life tour!
