2nd on the junk yard or here. Guys here sell them for like 40-50 bucks, and just polish the ones you get. I need two fronts and a rear one as well

the fronts are even more expensive.lol are the vert bumpers different than the coupe or sedan bumpers? if theynare different then i cant go to a junkyard because no junkyard around has verta

i do not believe they are different. And when I was back in jersey, the junk yard only had verts in it. Though out in GA I dont see many E30s in yards at all.

well im in luck!! Pull-a-part just got an 84' 318i coupe. whent there today only because the tailights that i ordered and just got today dont fit. apparently they are the "version 2" taillights. didnt know there were 2 versions. the difference is hige. its like 2 inches taller than my tailights. so i whent to the junkyard and the car only had 1 tailight...but it was the one i needed so yay! $24.32 out the door. and the rear diving board was there and in good condition! im going back for that in monday

You have the early (small) taillights pre 1988 but they ran till 1991-2 on the convertibles. The late model taillights started in 1988 on the coupe and sedans.

So glad you opted on fixing it. As I was going through the thread I thought to myself "I just think I found my new favorite e30" and then I saw your rear quarter got clobbered and my heart sunk.

well its all done!! got done quicker than i thought it would and it looks awesome! im waiting for him to send me all the pictures he took whule he was workinf on it. he has a lot and i cant wait to get those and put em up on here. but i felt it was only right to take the after pictures at the same jack n the box, in the same spot, at night just like i did when i first saw the damage. and eat in the same booth. it was really cool. haha

im really happy with it. he painted the whole car and got out any little dings here and there. it looks aeesome. guys a miracle worker. he said he didnt use any body foller whatsoever!

Did you replace the trunk or fix it? You could have replaced it with one off of a coupe or sedan to get rid of that 3rd taillight. It makes the rearend look super clean!
