Here's how that one came out after paint:Meh, it's honestly pretty straight forward if you are intuitive and mechanically inclined... A LOT of $$$ to do properly. I'm at $700+ with-out paint!

...but seriously - I think it would require swapping the rear panel. Not impossible, but a pain in the arse.
Here's one - anyone tried swapping euro chrome bumpers to an '88?1991 325i MT2 Touring (JDM bro)

Exemplary sir. 2 noob questions if you wouldn't mind. Which rear valence have you welded on? and would there be any problem using it with the chrome euros? (88 vert)'86 325es with late model plastics, rear valance welded in, and euro trim.

Thats a regular late model valence welded on, no idea how it would look with the chrome euros.
I did this conversion a few years back and Im actually thinking of taking the late model rear valence off... but thats only because mine looks like shitSimon
