How quickly did you turn off the motor after realizing what happened?

That sucks either way. I'm sure you can find a cheap replacement oil pan or motor locally though.

        Fight the city, works sometimes.

Hopefully you actually shut it off right away.

Do that as long as it doesn't cost you anything... it's not worth the chance of putting in time/money that you'll never get back. Lowered car = not their problem in the city's eyes most likely.

hope you dont have to pay for the clean up. thats all the city would do for you here in germany. a friend of mine broke his pan in the middle of an old hitler assembly/speach area, had to pay $800.00 for the clean up, cause it was a historic site. told him that he shouldnt have such a low car.
sux, sorry to see the damage.

I think a shooting spree is in order, If the city would do their job and actully do work right instead of dickin' around, stuff like that wouldnt happen

Time to put the M50 in!

Sorry to see, that moans!! I destroyed my oil pan when I had an M42, broke the lower, upper and the sump. Stripped bolts and everything.

                            What did the cops say?

i think as long as the car is not illigally low the city should pay for it. here in cali as long as the lowest part of your car is not lowr than the lowest part of your rim its all legit.
