It really is even if you make it right. Instead of getting it on the top two bolts like your supposed to I just up it on one and give the wrench a wack and it pops loose everytime. It's funny how they make tools to get the job done but the ghetto rigged version works better sometimes.

I'll put it this way......I would have bought your M3 before this Lotus if I had the money haha. Seemed like a lot of money for not a lot of car. It sounded amazing though for a little 1.9L, and he had it setup nicely for the track.sigpic

Well here is a little update on the car. Had a fun weekend minus the random horrible thunderstorms that brought hail and tornado's......
So I'll pickup where I left off, I got the rear shocks on mid last week, Friday I took a half day to finish the majority of the suspension. The car is going to get full M3 front suspension but I ordered the wrong rebuild kit for the calipers so it didn't happen.
Here is how the car sat with stock springs.
The install.
Rear Koni and GC coil springs. #750 rates in back.
Little comparison between stock and GC.
Here is a comparison shot of the front setup. (fronts are running a #550 rate)
Installed.........Don't worry bumpstops are on order from GC.
As you can see I also did the stud conversion from motorsports hardware with there sweet ltw aluminum lug nuts.
And the car the next day at the Local German-American society car show. (Cell pic....)
I didn't place.......but it was tough for anyone to beat my good buddies stupid clean, turbo 535 e28...........
He took top prize in enthusiast choice and top pick in spectators choice.
Good turn out though. My buddies and I are going to work with them to promote the show better next year, its the only exclusive German show in Omaha, so it needs to be bigger.
the two e30's and e28 are good friends of mine. Left to right.
E30 late model, built m20 track star, Owner of that just won the SCCA Solo nationals in his maita last year
E30 early model, 5'lug swap and fresh s52/zf swap on style 5's. he also has a full track build going with complete m3 fiberglass body
e28. show winner, 535 euro with built m30 and TCD turbo setup. is converting to e85. Currently around 400hp, looking to make around 600 after the switch. has a custom built tilton twin disc clutch setup.
I should have more updates coming. my style 32's are currently at the blaster, hoping to get the calipers finished this week. would like to see the suspension finalized by the end of the month.sigpic

The coils make it look right. Once you get the 32's on it will be so clean... Where was that German auto show that building looks familiar but I cant remember where its at.
