I love how sneaky it is. Just looks like a 30 year old little car (that can rip your face off if it wants to). I'm a fan of sleeperism.Originally posted by Andy.BWhenever I am about to make a particularly questionable decision regarding a worryingly cheap diy solution, I just ask myself, "What would Ether-D do?"Comment

Not saying you're wrong, but any way to back this up? I couldn't find and info on it with a quick search. They could be produced late '86 but sold as an '87 perhaps?
This car does have a few of the 'es options, but not all.
Excited to see mt1 and wheelsComment

Any car produced late 86 IS an 87 model year. That's how it works. It's true though that the 325eS didn't actually list the S on the door VIN tag. I know the 87 325eS exists because I've been around here for a while. Oh, and I've owned one. I'm not trying to be a dick but I've been in to E30's since you were 8. The 86 325eS is much more common though. Remember that in 86 the 325eS WAS the top of the line model but in 87 the 325i/iS/iC cars were released so I'm guessing 325e/eS sales dropped quite a bit.
Here's info that shows retail pricing for the E30 including the 87 325eS:
