Not yet, but I'm hopping to dyno the car before and after the schrick 284 cams. I wish I could do before and after on both the water pump and ps pump, but that gets too expensive!

Yup! Those things never really work right, better off used for a bracket!

In case anybody was wondering, the euro S50 water pump is very well built and extremely difficult to disassemble!!!

    It has a metal impeller:

Roller bearings on the fan belt side:

And ball bearings on the impeller side:

This is what the insides look like:

The surface was clean and nik free but yours truly made a mess of things trying to get pieces out. A press would have been super helpful here.

Machined a bit of aluminum to space out this bracket for the PS pump. Hard line has arrived, now to figure out where to put the PS cooler and routing from the passenger side to the rack and back.

Edit- That's a plastic side tank isn't it.....
I was actually looking at all aluminum radiators to replace this one and do exactly that. Only problem, this one is perfectly fine.

Haha, sweet! I loved those things, and got so many compliments on them at the ring car park! I was showing somebody a few old pictures of them, so much fun.

My hands are numb from jig-sawing this junk out! Off to a late night run to wallmart to buy another blade.

Spent a bit of time poking at things. I hadn't looked at the engine bay in a while, but there is NO space! Where I thought the EHPS pump would fit, was take up with lots of other things. I think the EWP will fit nicely in the lower radiator hose, but even that is tight.

I think this is the best spot for the EHPS. The high pressure line will be a bit longer than I had planned, luckily I bought a 6 foot stick of pipe!

So a very sophisticated bit of template fitting:

And this old cheerios box is ready to be transferred to aluminum

    Test fit

Any ideas on how to lessen the kink right out of the radiator?
