    Yes, take it off

It's ugly and is sucking up only hot engine air. Try to find the stock airbox or buy a KAMotors sealed intake or Castro Box

Literally anything is better than that god-awful PepBoys intake

You have a nice e30; Henna is the only "rot" color I actually like on non-M e30s. I wanted one badly for the longest time

Find the headlight cover if you're going to the yard. The more OEM the car looks, the better it looks. It will also help shield hot air and direct cold air into the intake, so you will actually be getting correct air flow into your intake

I agree with your statement about the "rot", although there are a few very nice Zinnos and Calypsos. Also what do u mean headlight cover? I've probably seen them before and just never heard em referred to.

ah, that's right; calypso looks fantastic aswell. I guess I'm just a hater of Zinno and Briliantrot

Its just a black cover that slips right behind the radiator support and protects the back of the headlight; that's why you have two little black holes on the support above the headlights on each side. The driver's side has a small cut-out that connects to the intake and thus shields the it from all hot engine air.

Engineers knew what they were doing in 85 with these things. A couple monkeys from Pepboys with a shotgun approach to modding... Eh..

Also, some chrome kidneys would really make this e30 pop

Mohamed...'s Calypso is probably my favorite, and I'll definitely look for one. The "shotgun approach" made me lol. And I still haven't decided what to do about the kidneys, new kidneys are like $60 so I haven't decided yet. Thanks for the help

Junkyard and members always usually have a few to spare

Good luck though! Some time, patience (lots of it lol), a little can-do-it, and elbow grease can make this e30 shine

Yep man, now just saving up for some suspension and wheels, any suspension recommendations, I'm looking a H&R Cup springs and Bilstein Sport shocks as well as some coilovers like BCs and trying to find out if there's a way to run TC Kleins

You can never go wrong with GC or GE Coilovers. Pricey, yes, but so worth it (GE coils are actually pretty inexpensive though)

If you're looking for a budget start; H&R Sport/Race with Bilstein Sports/HDs are a solid start. Heck, just refreshing all the bushings and getting some upgraded control arm bushings will increase you handling big time

GE coils are like $100 less than ground control coils iirc. Not that much difference. However I love my groumd control coils. They are amazing.

Yea I think I'm going to go to either poly or Delrin bushing all around, but I'm looking for function and form, she sits wayy too high right now. And please excuse my ignorance, what are GEs? I know Ground Control but what are GEs?

Yea I was in awe the first time I saw it. It's the most worn guibo I've ever seen.

Also, got a question for you guys, F3AR told me not to put ESMs on it, he said to throw some weaves on it, what do u guys think? If I do get weaves, what should I get? Looking to only spend $600-$700 on em.

GE coils are produced by r3v's very own Einstein57 (Nigel). They come with a construction and spring rates similar to GC; it really comes down to preference hen deciding between the two

14" iS Basketweaves will only run a max of $350 for a full set + caps. It's what I have currently on my iS at the moments. Clean, OEM, look great. You can't go wrong with them

Ah ok, and I was thinking about euroweaves/15" iX weaves or E30 M3 wheels (with 5 lug adapters) but I don't know how much they are, haven't seen any for sale

Thumbs up on wanting sport seats [iS] and also for wanting to M30 swap. A torque monster and a good platform if you ever wanted to go forced induction.

These are the seats, any idea what they are?
