So it was a nice day yesterday - finally. Hit the car wash, had to take some more pics. Some will still (and always) dislike it, but I love the car.

Looks good from low angles because you can't tell how mismatched the interior is. I'm not a fan of the tan and black, it's like wearing brown shoes with a black suit.

Is lip on Scottys car would be just asking to throw away 150 bucks. THe damn thing is slammed. Looks great man, cant wait to see what you have in store for it next winter.

I'm torn between leaving them black for contrast, doing inserts in matching leather, or getting full panels done in the same color.

It looks spectacular - but the car is low enough with the i lip. If I move south, maybe. But up here - this will have to do...

Pass side fo sho. New doors are coming - everything is getting a fresh coat of paint over the winter. Going a few shades darker on the blue.

See above - I understand what you're saying, but the contrast is nice sometimes. Just gotta tweak it.

Good eye Julien - not a single straight or properly aligned panel on it ;) Probably helps make it look "beat"...

I'd spend the time to align them properly, but half of them aren't straight, so they won't line up no matter how long I spend. Over the winter I'll be replacing everything with straight parts, painting and finishing, then reassembling and aligning everything just right. For now, as Dave said, I'm going to enjoy the hell out of a topless car this summer :)

The car was traded for the silver car in DaveCN's sig - he took the goodies like the is lip and the ellips off before passing the torch, per our arrangement.

I put an i lip on to clean things up - my new smilies are going on soon ;)

When the car comes out in the spring with fresh panels and paint - you'll be hired to take some REAL pics with a REAL camera - seriously.
