Its a nice suspension setup - the only draw back is the height. Rides nicely, but if you are on crappy NE roads like Scotty, I can see where it'd be trouble.

I always had to watch driveway entrances and speedbumps.

Yea, I have no clue how NE roads are but I am looking at getting KW 60/60 with bilisteins but have no clue how that is going to lower the car. Bimmerfanatik's vert would probably be alright where I drive but probably no lower

60/60 is going to be on bump stops in the rear. I have 60/40 springs and I rub in the rear on bumps and hard acceleration in first/second.

I am putting 17" Kopi replicas from Abrahams on it so this would probably make it worse too. Damn this suspension shit. Haha Can't afford GC's but want suspension that is low and stiff. Ooo...well sorry did'nt mean to jack the thread

You could buy GC's and run them with Bilsteins. It would only be about $200 more than a lowering spring set. Save up and wait, you will be happier in the long run.

Aren't GC's $1500 or are you talking just springs?

It's like $1,200 for the full kit with springs, shocks, camber plates, etc. You can get just the springs and collars for $399 and use whatever shocks you want.

I was gonna mention polish and wax but if your redoing everything this winter I suppose its not worth spending the hours on it. Very comendable of you to spend the time and energy to bring the vert back to life. I'll see if I can take some decent pics for you this Sunday.

Its nice to see something different! Keep goin scotty! The wheel and the knob definitely tie the interior together. Euro/retro!
