Turns out the tune was no good. Had high hopes for it. Took car to John at WOT a couple days after the new year. Got a base flash for my injectors so I could break in the clutch. Had to run to across state for school and work then was back at it the following week. Set up a dyno time and started tuning. Long story short stopped tuning short b/c waste gate spring was holding too much boost. Spiked briefly at 14-15 and holding at 12-13 on stock CR. Looks like engine is in good shape. Didn't want to risk and plan on running around 8 psi so have to reschedule final tune.

I am real tight with cash but am considering just going straight for bigger injectors, studs an head gasket so i don't have to retune twice and pay double. What do you guys recommend for MAF's? Is there a specific MAF everyone uses for blow through 15+ psi applications?Leave a comment:

Getting closer! Light at the end of the tunnel. These situations are frustrating, hang in there.Leave a comment:

its tuning. Went to John at WOT-tech and got a quick flash for stock timing and my injectors so I could at least drive the car around. I had high hopes for my tune but oh well. Car will be retuned in the next couple weeks.Leave a comment:

I had a similar issue and I know you don't think you left anything in your intercooler piping but just for shits pull it off and check it again........I had a walmart bag on the turbo side of the intercooler not my proudest momentLeave a comment:

when i unplug MAF they bounce around a lot, before they used to be real steadyLeave a comment:

I didn't get a fuel pressure gauge. no idea on that, need to test it. Its a flashed obdi tune. yea injectors are in spec. the revs bounce around a bitLeave a comment:

What's the fuel pressure at idle? The whole lean problem is strange seeing how you get below 13 under boost. What chip exactly do you have in? Also, the injectors are probably fine but did you check the ohms were in spec before putting them in. You said that you have a 450 idle but is it bouncing or relatively steady? Typically you'll see higher idle when a vacuum leak is involved.
Also just curious what spark gap your running.Leave a comment:
