Honestly, I really dont get it. Turbos are cool and so are RSs, but the rust and overall lack of giving a shit about the body is upsetting. I know thats the "look" youre going for, but it looks like a beat piece of shit. But whatever.

Not a big fan of rust, but great looking car. Have you considered stripping the paint and hitting it with polish? Would look super cool.

Yeah, people don't seem to understand that rust is not solely a VW thing; rat rods have been around for decades. I wasn't inspired by any 90s trends on GTIs or Golfs....What no engine bay shots?!?!?! Nice feature Belina. Glad you ended up with my old wheels and did something with them.
Rust and Rat Rod has been an in/out fad since the 1940's dude. I tuned this car, it's very quick, turns heads and he has been driving/tracking it all over the state. It serves it's purpose and he likes it, that's what matters.
I remember the day there was paint stripper shavings all over the shop floor lol.
When sitting at meets, guess who's car has the crowd around it? Not the 17 e30's in a row with euro trim, iS lips and m50 swaps, everyone is checking this thing out ;)
Lol Spencer, that was part of the problem. The other part was a bad AFM that wasn't properly metering the air. That's all been taken care of so I can shred tires with no issues now :pimp:

I don't know if "lack of giving a shit about the body" would hold up in a real argument. It's really only a light surface rust. And behind all of that, all rust and rot has been fixed(spare my drivers side quarter panel). It also has some nice OEM upgrades. Yeah, it may look like a beat piece of shit to you, but I can guarantee that if I were to knock off all the surface rust and paint it it would have less rust & rot than a lot of e30s on the road.
Stripping the rust you mean and polishing the bare metal? Yes, but the car is way too bright when it's like that. It's blinding to drive.

Thanks, you can get the door handles from Condor Speed Shop. They only sell all black ones now, this was the last raw machined set
