Nice man! If the paints in pretty good shape, and little to no rust, I'd say pull the trigger on it

Small update but I haven't done much lately, I greased up the rear calipers because there was a slight squicking noise after you let off the brakes from a stop, seemed to have fixed the problem but then again I only drove it 6 feet up back into the driveway. They where bone dry with old grease that was sticky.. The rear shock mounts also seem to make a bit of noise, I bought new ones and they'll be going in before Bimmerfest. I also put the white basketweaves back on. Besides that I've had 2 dates in it :D, its been under the car cover for 2 weeks now.

So I made it to the hotel for Bimmerfest! I was up until 2am the night before (got 4 hours of sleep before the caravan left) because I was stitching in a new top window... I didn't want to drive down with the hardtop on. Ran great the whole way there with no problems, lets hope it goes the same way when I leave for home.

And all of us here took the wrong exit and decided to hang out..

                EDIT
: Forgot to mention while being behind this guy in the caravan, a rock flew up from his tire and chipped my perfect windshield, well I guess it isn't now..

Thanks! I'm also really happy on how well everything cleaned up. I just checked the oil and to my surprise, its still at the same level I left my house at. I've only put on 1,400 miles since owning the car, and never have had to top off.. and still don't! I'll check again when I get back home tomorrow.

                      Some pics at the show,

And another at 5.30pm (the show technically ended at 4pm) You can see the mess the group with the blue tent left..

ALL by hand, and it was a major pain. My fingers did hurt a bit the next day, not going to lie. I had a helper outside of the car while I worked on the inside, all in all it came out decent. I kept the same stitch spacing that the old window had, you can see it in the picture above. Stitching only that far apart all the way around takes a long time!

Here's a pic of the window, bit reflective in this pic for some reason.

Thanks Matt! The car is almost at the point of where I can say I'm happy with it actually. I wanted a OEM+ look and I think I achieved it

I take my other claim back saying I've put only 1,400 miles since owning the car... I put a little over 950 miles this weekend alone! I did the timing belt at 155,744 and I'm now at 159,019.. I'm enjoying every mile I put on the car so I'm not to worried, if anything it just proves to me how solid of a car it is.

Just checked my oil and... the level is still the same! 3,000 miles since the last oil change and didn't even have to top off once, my coupe has 110,000 miles and that needs half a court between changes, and that engine got all new gaskets! I hope the Mtech's m20 stays healthy for many more miles to come.

I had cruse control on maybe 80% of the trip back, then I hit a bit of traffic.
