However, God never closes the door without the devil opening a window. Introducing the baby slapping demon power plant that is the s52 3.2 liter inline six. This sweaty beast was pulled from the heart of a e36 M3, brought kicking and screaming into this world like Rosemary ' s baby. This will be the new engine in my car and the smile on my face for many years to come. Gathering swap/maintenance parts at the moment, will post up the build once we get there.

sigpicGrind it till you find it.

What the heck is up with that intake manifold on the S52?

It's something called drugs. Kids are taking them nowadays and doing all kinds of crazy things.

If you look at the swap list in the comments section of the engine it explains it all. Also I already have the m50 manifold and corresponding unf#$king parts already.

Amazing the change a set of wheels makes!

What paint did you use for the shadowline?

Man inspiration for my schwartz coupe. I need those euro valances. Are those US rear apron? I wonder if I can convert my 84 to that same setup

The rear is a custom fiberglass piece made by a friend of the previous owner. I love the valence

Lots of test fitting and trimming...shortened it like the plastic bumper and attached it right to the early model metal valence.

                              and it begins

Found out what happened to my m20

Finally on it's way to my buddies house for the swap

last time a m20 will be under the hood

Kind of a weird situation. So I bought a 330i e46 rack from Brian but we couldn't find any stock boots for under $30 a piece, these were $7/pc. and they didn't have the same colors, so being out of pocket already with the swap these will work perfect and I actually kind of like them

Had to hardline part of the harness into the car because it's an 87.

                              Getting close

more to come, I'll post up the first start video this weekend.
