    Hi Everyone. My first E30, a 318is.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. A few days ago, I brought home this old gal, a 91 318is. This is my first E30.

She's pretty much bone stock and was really well maintained by her previous owners; came with thick folder of every record from new. Really happy with it so far and I'm looking forward driving and maintaining and doing some functional and tasteful modifications on this car.

I'm happy to be on the board and look forward to contributing as much as I can.

    Cheers.

I saw this car! I hope that the battery tray rust isn't too bad and you haggled the seller down a bit. Welcome!

                          Thanks all.

Gary Yogurt, battery tray rust was well isolated and controlled, but for my own OCD, I'll probably end up cutting and welding in some replacement metal. PO and I were able to agree on a price we were both OK with.

Car overall is super clean, and really really well maintained and recorded through the years. Been driving it around the last few days to get more acquainted and have been making list and ordering parts for little nitpicky things I want to take care of. It's a fun little car.

That's great. If it wasn't for my insistence on six cylinders, I probably would have tried to take a look at it. It looked like it was well-cared for.
