    so time for some Update.

we finished the rust problem on the rear.
all spots are done, we now start putting all the stuff back in place.
    Here some Pictures

ps:....i was nearly crying when they rip all this old stuff out of the car
at first hm  ...then :? ...and then :loco: ..but then i give a fuck because....they rip it out, they have to weld it in again :D

we nearly need the complete piece

some parts were in good condition, so we clean and refresh them

...burned a holder, no idea what that is!? :D

its not me, its my best friend and it was hard getting him out ....

    random photo...

New Protection for the Metal and the "underbody"
It was the first time we use the cavity protection but it works really good.

preparing the "new"/used tank for installation

the new protection....really strange stuff, smells like hell and was extrem sticky

changed the fuelfilter and and the fuellines, brakeline etc.

    Paaaaaarts

we still need to do a lot. we have to build some holders for this big plastic cover you see on the right. on the original bmw spare part this holders are just missing

      Update

Yesterday we start working on the rear axle.
It works better then expected but the most pictures i make look like shit need a new Phone....
We had no problems, after some hours ....it was in again :)

After the rear was complete we decided to rip the front apart.
It works again without any problems....a bit scary....and after 1 hour
the complete front axle was out of the car.

Finally after 5 Weeks we can put the car back on its own rear tires and start rebuilding all the staff in the front.

If you guys want you can like our new facebook page :) just look at my signature.
There we will post some Updates from our other E30's

Hi Jens! Nice car, and great progress!

Where do you buy your e30 parts from here in Germany? Is there a store or website you can recommend?
As you know anything from America we have to pay so much tax on!

                I also live in Germany (Stuttgart) and have a brilliantrot 318is with 24v (m52b28 ) haha ;)

I'm not doing quite as much engine or rust work as you are though, I don't have such a nice work place or the skills you have, so it's slow and expensive to get work done here. And I can't believe how hard it is to find a place to work on e30s here!

Anyway great work, and maybe we meet some time for some photos or a drive!

Oh and, just in case (sorry I don't mean to side-track your thread), but maybe you would be interested in directly swapping your hecklappe with emblems for my "shaved" one also in brilliantrot which came with my car?
(I saw one of your other cars also has this)
If not, kein stress! Haha

                    Hi "JamesE30",
                    first -> thx :)!

The most parts i buy online on ebay or leebmann24.de. The BMW Dealer here is a bit to expensive.

Your car looks really good man! So you also swap a rare "IS" to 24V :D a lot of people say.....you cant do that blabla ...
We search around 5 months to find this place, after some work its now nearly perfect :).

                    I'll send you a private message ;).

and here are some pictures of the finished Car.
Complete finished? hm not really....still have a lot to do and some wishes :)

                    (sry for the poor quality)

i need to change the Air Filter i know, this one is really ugly...

                    other rims are planned

that Pic is from this Week at the TÜV Rheinland Station. no single deficiency.

Now i only need to get the car Registered what is not so easy here in Hessen because of some new laws -.-

i finally got the car registered :) it was actually no big deal at the end.

Here is an actual picture of it in front of my workplace.

                      and from the side...

I still want to do a lot ...but i have to safe money....the winer is comming soon and i need a new Winterbitch.

The only problem at the moment is my rear-differential, it makes quite ugly noises no idea why....will check it today.

i will update a new "To-Do"-List as soon as i have time for it.

ps: and yes ....the car is still far too high

The car looks great! Congratulations on getting it through TUV, I'm sure they are very picky with old cars.
