Anyone else winter driving their RWD e30?

1987 325is with studded winter tires. It's a blast. Sorry for the pic, took it after a quick run in a snow storm.

My old car had an LSD. It was bomb in the winter. Never got stuck.

This was after I came back from vacation. The car was in park-n-fly and it took me forever to find it. :P

I driven my e30 one winter season few years ago, It was fun....much snow plowing etc But after car rebuild I don't do that, because of salt, grit etc on road....all this transforms our cars in RUST ! :D

Been having a blast. Try to make it out and about before the snow plows come through and spray salt everywhere; Then I switch to the F30 :D. Got almost a foot in one day; still no problem for an LSD.

Sandbags and an LSD for the win.

Studded snow tires on bottlecaps, and my e30 is a blast in the snow.
Light on the throttle, and the car is unstoppable. Just blip the throttle, and endless sideways action.

I'd love to but I'm afraid of rust :/ My E30 is amazingly rust free, and I really want it to stay that way.

e30 stays in the garage during snow, i do drive the e46 out on gods dandruff from time to time. (99' 325i sedan)

crazy how well these cars stick being rwd.
on a normal basis it should spell out a recipe for disaster and just a dreadful time.
(unless your an auto body guy... then your prayers are answered every winter)
BUT..good tires + rwd in the snow = fun time :ST1G:
unless you suck at gauging danger zones then stay home.
