Started getting the front valance pulled apart, which gave me a TON of clearance for driving. I no longer had to angle the car so much when going over dips and entrances. I got too confident and scraped my oil cooler a little bit and broke one of the mounting brackets. Good thing that will be coming off a day later.

I wanted this to be as straight forward as possible. So the oil cooler, fan, and AC system were all removed.

    Turbos and things.

    Here we go!

Pulled the head off and both manifolds.

It all comes down to this moment, to boost or not to boost...

      To boost. ;D

Wiring is my least favorite thing. Big shoutout to my buddy Hayden for helping throughout this whole process.

There are few times in my life I have been as relieved as I was to see this all buttoned back up. Total time for the head swap and turbo install was 3 days.

New filter and intercooler piping shots.

Is the rear spoiler custom? I would love to get a duck tail for my e34.

I got mine from some guy in Poland who makes them to order. Took about 2 months total to my doorstep.

Thanks! Everything has been running well so far. I'm getting a slight hesitation in 3rd and 4th gears when I roll into boost. Started by chasing spark; plugs, wires, and coils are all good (plugs are gapped to .030"). Fuel is good, still running the Walbro 255.

At this point I'm thinking maybe the tune. I don't have the wideband setup yet, but my guess is rich/lean condition or possibly over timed. It's going in for a final dyno tune tomorrow, so hopefully we can track it down then.

He sells them through eBay but it looks like he does limited runs of them, because the listing isn't active anymore. The listing title was just "Ducktail E30 Trunk Spoiler".
