That would be awesome if you could get it back.

so since I have been away in China for the past week, I got bored and started ordering more parts lol. While installing the mid SS brake lines, I stripped one of the hard lines as it wouldn't budge. I ended up ordering new hard lines and one thing led to another...I will be dropping the subframe and replacing the bushings while I'm doing the rear brakes. Below is the list of parts I ordered.

          -Euro grills
          -M3 grill emblem
          -smoked turn signals
          -euro license plate filler
          -e30 M oil filler cap

I hope I can leave China before Im broke lol

Funny thing, I live about an hour or so away from Mel, wonder what he could do for me on some interior Alpina bits ;D

And I don't see a set smilies on that list! They'd go quite nice with that setup.

Hopefully he has the Alpina parts you need!

Your right lol, they would look quite nice. The only issue is is funding this project and my e46 M3 at the same time. I just purchased a set of Apex track wheels so the smilies have to wait until next paycheck lol.

Yes I believe it is. It's a nice piece but I will end up powder coating it a nicer color. Probably black but maybe lachs.

Awesome, might grab one for the E30 and my E36 M3. I like how it is close to the firewall which makes it easier to work on the car.

Im not too familiar with penn grade oil, but 15w-40 seems a little thin for a s14. Not trying to start an oil discussion, just make sure you do your research if you haven't already.

Ya for sure! I was stoked that the plug removal tool cleared the bar.

I was concerned with the low zinc content of the oil ecstuning sent me with the oil service kit. It was only 5w-30. The penn has a high zinc content and I believe 15w-40 and 15w-50 is what most people run in their s14's.... I live in San Diego so the temp never gets too low or high.

Someone needs to contact them, because the fact that ecs' oil kit for an e30 m3 is bmw 5w-30 is concerning. That oil is absolutely not suitable for an s14, at ALL.

I use basically in all my S engines, Castrol EDGE 10w-60. Good viscosity at cold starts unless you live in a uber cold climate, and perfect at full temp viscocity if you plan to drive sportier the car, not to mention if is a hot day.
