I have seen that car, it was on CL off and on again for a few months. I have the same BBS RX203 for my car as well but mine I had redone in a BBS silver style color.
Nice find. The last one I found had minor rust until I started stripping it down and then all hell broke loose. Let just say I moved on -on that one. Looking for another one to go with my Mtec hopefully soon.

30-35k is because the sells went dead for a few a months and someone happens to post one up for 30 to 40+K just as a feeler and everybody thinks it has gone up. Then you see more and more going for that price based on that for sale ad..
If you ask the sellers can you come down a bit man come on.. They will say "yeah well I just saw one sell for 35k and I think 30k is just about as low as I go"
Although I think your car is beast I'd pay top dollar for that definetely!!
I'm an E30 fan to the CORE I've owned 6 total and I just don't see 30K+ for an average E30 M or 10K+ for a rebuilt rusted one??? If this community is going to thrive, this shit has got to stop! Just my $0.02. This is affecting the community in more ways than one, 10K rusted 88 Tourings with M40 No A/C and crank windows??? WTF What's next rusted out ETA's with a "Supersprint catback" for 10K?????? Wait that already happened...........FAKKKKK Are we turning into the P car community??? The writing may already be on the wall.
Happy to report that I completed the following over the weekend: Actually I started at7:30 a.m on Saturday 4/11 and finished before 7 p.m. just in time to grab some jerk chicken and rice with the boys....
All brand New parts
-Rear Sport Bilsteins
-E46 M3 Convertible RSM's with Rogue Plates
-New axles on both sides
-New Ignition system ( plugs, wires, cap and rotor)
-New belts (all 3)
-New Zimmerman blanks with PAGID pads all around
I have one last order of parts coming in from Pelican to address the remainder of the cooling system. The only thing left on my to-do list as of today is to re flush the coolant after I remove and reinstall the following:
coolant reservoir canister-new
thermostat-new
all new hoses and clamps for the water pipes
coolant level sensor
She was sweating coolant at the thermostat hose clamp so Im changing all that old stuff in one swoop.
I have a new Mahle fuel filter that I forgot to install on Saturday so that will go on this Saturday 4/18.
Larry (F50nut) came over to give me some pointers on Saturday and I can say that the man was smiling when he saw the car. He saw the potential and the patina! It will be tough to sell but I will sell it after I finish buttoning her up in a few weeks.
...give the opportunity to another enthusiast to get her cosmetically up to par. The mechanicals are ALMOST tip-top. Woohoooooo!

Preach! I agree to a certain extent. It will only get further and further away to be quite honest. The prices will not come down. Plateau or taper off of such a rapid hike and remain more constant....possibly. I said this in 2010 and I said it again on many posts on s14.net in late 2013 before the bubble occured in March/April of 2014. The enthusiasts are out there. Clean E30's are becoming harder to find. Those who have them...for the most part, know that there is demand. I don't want to create a price bashing thread or animosity for those with open FS threads who may be asking top dollar for their chariot. Just my $0.02.
