Got the back of the car jacked up yesterday and began removing the required items to access the subframe (exhaust etc.)

Also received my boot set from Matt-B. They work great!

Finally got the rear of the car disassembled. Not bad but a pain compared to how easy the front was.

Same plans for back here, sand blast everything and recoat. I'll replace all of the bushing and mounts as well. I also picked up those Garagistic trailing arm reinforcements as well as the rear subframe/arb mount ones.

I am really excited to get this back half completed as the rear suspension is a collaboration with Ground Control. It's a combo of parts from an Eibach Mustang R-1 kit with some modifications via Ground Control's magic touch. I definitely can't wait to test it out!

Looks killer and bet it rides like a dream now.
You're not taking advantage of your M3 style sway bar tabs on your housings though! Connect them rather than connected to the control arm. Night and day difference.

Can't wait to find out, but I agree it should ride amazing!

I promise I am, just don't have the endlinks hooked up in the photos! I wouldn't let those GC sway bar mounts go to waste!

It's a Davinci XYZ, works pretty darn well for the price! I've made a lot of awesome parts with it!

Well I finally got everything assembled and the car feels great! I still need to dial in the ride height and align it. Big thanks to everyone at Ground Control for helping me put together an awesome setup. Again I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Next the exterior will get a little love: new badges, kidneys, grills etc. and a few other maintenance items such as plugs, wires, vacuum lines, fluids etc.

I'm into the next phase of restoration for me, which is basically a ton of maintenance and under hood aesthetics.

Here's a list of parts that I picked up from Ireland Engineering:

                          BELT
                          TENSIONER
                          TENSIONER SPRING
                          TENSIONER BOLT
                          WATER PUMP
                          THERMOSTAT
                          THERMOSTAT GASKET
                          THERMOSTAT ORING
                          RADIATOR DRAIN PLUG
                          CAMSHAFT SEAL
                          PLUG WIRE SET
                          PLUGS, BOSCH PLATINUM PLUS
                          VALVE COVER GASKET
                          DISTRIBUTOR ROTOR
                          DISTRIBUTOR CAP
                          CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
REBUILD/SEND INJECTORS FOR SERVICE (Thanks MEPEH!)

Their service was great and parts shipped quick!

I'm going to be coating the intake manifold and valve cover while they are off. I'll also be adjusting the valves among a few other things.

Here's a few pictures of the progress:

All coated! Not sure if I am going to block the letters and logo yet.

This is truly inspirational. I'm hoping to pick up my first E30 here next week, or the week following pending the PPI and compression test. Some items need a bit of restoring and tweaking, but you seem quite OCD like myself when it comes to certain things, and I can appreciate that. Keep up the good work!
