This is my fathers 83' z28 5.0 Liter High Output. T-Tops, carburated (yes, crossfire was junk) and 52,xxx original miles. Approximately only 3,000 of these z28's produced. It is a very solid and well put together car. You either love Camaros or you hate em, I happen to love em.

my loathing of GM has little to do with their engines, some of them are excellent.

I'll admit that gm makes some crappy cars, actually almost all of them suck. But camaros, corvettes, trans ams... plus chevy and gmc trucks are great.

This argument has gone and will continue to go nowhere. This is an E30 forum. Take the argument that E30's are worth something to a Camaro forum and you'll be laughed off the worldwide web.
                Personal preference.

Damn-near anyone driving a small, nimble German car is going to think a Camaro is a huge ugly piece of American crap. Sorry.

I, personally, drive a huge ugly piece of German crap called an E34 525i, and no way would I ever try to convince anyone here that it's cooler than an E30!

That is one effing clean Camaro. I was always a Firebird/Trans Am kid, but that thing is nice.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Any GM with less than 8 cylindars is junk.
