I can't really explain what it is about the steelies and caps that I like to be honest. It just gives the car a cool stock look. I didn't get them to make it a sleeper really as the noise and intercooler are a dead giveaway anyway.
Converted my car to a 318i...

Personally I like the sleeper look. Here in Cali where cops have gone all wacko trying to bust street racers (or was that street ricers...) making yourself less conspicuous is the way to go. Also less likely for some punk to want to rip off a car with hubcaps if he can get one with sweet aftermarket wheels instead.
On my previous car I had a really nice audio setup but had it hidden under a mockup of the factory Delco/GM radio. One pull on the velcro securing the faux headunit and it went from stock to rock. All of my speakers were also hidden under stock speaker grilles.Comment

Matt, you have a serious disease when it comes to e30 wheels. The time you've spent changing wheels on your car probably adds up to a full year - a leap year even.Comment

i dont think it is a sleeper look at all. Badass cars tend to be able to pull off any wheel well.
looks nice.
PS. If your car can pull off Teddybears then I'll be impressed. I bet yo0u already have a set too ;)Comment

Youd have a point execpt for one important detail, I didnt pick those rims by choice, they just came with the car and had brand new rubber. Meh, that car is now parted and the motor is kicking ass in Nandos stroker.
Plus dont lie, you just want to be big pimpin like I was with those bad boys. ;)Back to my roots
