definitely looks to me like the ebrake is working the master cylinder, but hell, what do i know.

Jordan's gone, Heeter's gone. SHould be a pretty quiet place.Originally posted by Ritalin KidShit.. we didn't have to ban him.. who's gonna be the resident Hater now?
I am guessing TJ will be the next flamethrower for a while, unless Ryan Stewart gets his adrenalin really running after a Klan Klavern getogether . . .

NO, they are in series.Originally posted by UNHCLLVlad,
I guess what it looked like to me was that the brake bias was also directing fluid that is moved by the e-brake handle. This is what led me to question the reasoning behind this. If its independent, then the whole system now makes sense.

I guess I'll say it AGAIN!!!
There are 2 master cylinders in the system, the e-brake master cylinder effectively "boosts" the pressure to the rear lines when it is pulled, otherwise it does NOTHING in the system and has no effect on the rear bias (that is what the bias adjuster if for!!).The fluid goes from the MC (in the engine bay) to:
1) the front brakes and,
2) to the bias valve (on the handbrake in this case usually it is separate),
-then into the MC for the handbrake,
-out the other end and into the rear lines.292rwhp E30 :DComment

Glad this got resurrected! Lee (massivebrakes) is selling alum rear hats and while he has an option now for e-brake provisions, with this hydraulic setup, you could eliminate the stock e-brake entirely and run alum hubs in back while maintaining an e-brake...
Hmmm......
So how is the brake holding up Vlad?

well, the car is in storage for the past few month ;) the brake worked fine before, entering the corners sideways 'rally style' using the hydraulic ebrake is F-U-N !Glad this got resurrected!
