SF car came home today. Big thanks to Kronus for facilitating the deal on my behalf. He's a really nice guy.

Time to do stuff to this one too.

Man don't even bring up the truck. I haven't touched it in a long time. It is currently sitting in pieces in a barn until I have the time/space/money to really get into it.

I really love the 58-59 apaches and early C10s. If you can find I good one you should pick one up. They are relatively cheap and so simple/utilitarian. I checked out that IG and they post some awesome stuff. I am thinking about taking a period correct offroad build (think old Napco 4x4s) on mine but at this point I am still just dreaming.

I will stay tuned on this build. Looks like nice 2002s just keep showing up on your doorstep.

The new d side fender came in yesterday. I'm going to see if I can pull out most of the nose myself, and then send it over to a body shop for the finishing touches/paintwork. I'm about 92% on sending the interior to ak+. It needs new front and rear seats. The door cards I can rebuild myself, which is what I want to do.

But yes, super potential. Super stoked.

Well if and when you do start on that project, shoot me a message or something. I really want to see what you do to it. They are great trucks and yours has just the right amount of patina now, should you choose to keep it or not.

2002s are fun. They give me something to spend my money and time on, in a therapeutic sense.

I'm also playing around with an extra valve cover I found. It's from an 84 318i I think. Don't know what the end product is, but it already looks similar to the early 60s m10 valve covers. I like it.

                        No idea!

I'm not after chrome. I like the stock finish. So maybe like 500 grit at most. 800 if I'm feeling out-of-this-world crazy.

I am down to an old Iphone 5 with a broken camera lens, since my DSLR got destroyed in the blue car's accident. I think I'm going to buy a new Sony A7r II, but I'm going to wait for the new iphone that should come out in the next month and a half. Until then, I'm going to be posting the worst photos ever.
