Glad you both are okay, this car needs to be saved, my 540 got booped the other day in the parking lot at work but I don't care enough about it to take any action or money. Hope she's back on the road soon!

So, the most depressing thing happened last night.....

    My baby got rearended....

Me and my boyfriend were driving to dinner, and we were stopped at a red light. This dumb asian broad slammed into us going at least 35+. She claims she "totally didn't see us." She barely spoke any English, and didn't even have her insurance information in the car with her. She had to call her husband to come play mediator.

She hit us so hard that my central locking freaked out and rapid fires locks/unlocks the car, so it's a **** to get in or out of the car now.

We're both very sore, but we're ok. We've got a police report open, and insurance claims are already in progress. I'm REALLY hoping that their insurance will be able to convince a body shop to actually do the repairs on their dime, or that they'll cut me a big enough check to do the repairs myself. If they don't, I'm pushing for a big enough chunk to buy a new car....

I am totally heartbroken, but grateful that none of my really cool Euro stuff was on the car yet (minus the taillights)... That's all safe..

    been busy:)

Looking forward to seeing the car in the spring with all the hartge parts. Funny how the winter really puts a stop on working on paint projects!!!:).
You will like the 16's better. They really go good with the sideskirts and the rest of the body kit.

Good call on going to 16s. 16s are perfect on an E30.

    Another update:

It's been pretty cold here, so paint has been on hold till warmer weather. But I have not been idle.

I've tracked down and installed heated washer jets. I have also managed to snag a set of heated seats with harness, and a ski pass rear seat that will get recovered to match my interior. I also managed to snag a headlight washer kit. I just need to refurb and install it with the euro Smiley's and grills. Gonna be a busy winter!!

Also, I sold the Hartge 15x7's and have tracked down a set of Hartge Japan 16x7.5/16x8 split wheels!! I am super excited.

Holy Crap, post 50 was a game changer I love to see rare parts. Congrats on all of the Hartge stuff, but you should sell it and buy some Alpina stuff. :p

right?! stupid expensive!! most of the cost was all labor too. sure, replacement parts weren't cheap, but the labor killed. so i do it myself :)

i got lucky with scoring a lot of these haha. just happened to talk to the right people at the right time, and make some good deals. i've got the full exterior body kit complete, wheels, & strut bar. only need rear strut bar, steering wheel, maybe the exhaust, and possibly the striping.

I'd like a set of 16's, but if I'm going to do the 16's I'd like to do the 3-piece versions (yeah I know, good luck finding a good set... I'm already saving my pennies after I recoup from all this stuff haha). So in the mean time, these gorgeous 15" monoblocks will do me nicely.

I've got one black one (sitting in a pile of to-install parts on my living room floor), but I need a second one. PM incoming.

I remember seeing this car at the e30 picnic. If you want oem+ , ditch the eyebrows. Good progress!
