Dave, I am prepared to transfer $517,000 into your bank account. You will then deliver the headlights along with a money order for $504,145 to my address in Madagascar. The difference is yours to keep.

Well, I've sent all my money to a blind poor boy with no hands, no arms, no legs, no torso, no head suffering from painintheassitis with surprisingly the same address and name as you, hmmm, weird shit hein?

Long time since 2006, and this is how the car evolved in this time, soon after the other pics, the adventure began:
A few, lot, of nights like this:
The original engine was in pretty bad shape and was like this in a little more time:
Started cleaning the interior:
Spent a while like this:
As I was planning the engine rebuild, a friend of mine put his up for sale to make room for a S38 in his car, so I snatched it off his hands:
It had been recently rebuilt, with some goodies, like exhaust and cams, aproximately 190 bhp.
Got some blingtastic rims:
And late 2009 it finally left my garage and went to the cage builder to have something done:
Couple of weeks later, custom Crmo cage, with some nice details I asked for, picks up in front and rear turrets, diff and nicely hidden. It's so close to the car is unreal:
Then, to the painter and mechanic friend, to see if progress is swifter than in my garage. By this time I had decided to paint it black:
In the meantime, got a nice and very short, shifter:
A nice 318ti power steering rack, I really liked the one in my brother's so decided on it instead of the usually chosen Z3 one, it's slightly longer but shorter than the e36 one, so perfect for me:
Suspension bits started being put in place:
Reinforced subframe:
Bling in suspension parts as well:
With the suspension in place:
Some weeks later, finally with round headlights:
Well fed engine:
Needed bigger wheel arches, everywhere to fit e36 sized tyres (so much cheaper), so:
And ready for paint:
Little by little:
and soon enough, mid 2010, it's ready or close to being:
Two days later, on the 2100km trip to the Nurbugring:
And finally, on track:
Some more things going on, I'll try to keep this updated.
:veryhappy:
