My Dad had an '86 E24 635csi when I was born and I grew up in that car, he got rid of it, (maintenance costs+child), when I was about 7. At the same time, we had a '72 Bavaria that I never once heard run but only had 64k on it. Later I was told it needed a head gasket and he never got around to it so he ended up selling that also, when I was 11. I love my E30's but I'd take a clean E24 in a heartbeat and an E9 is a car that will never depreciate in value so there's no such thing as a "bad deal" on one. Congrats on that score, and that color is absolutely gorgeous! I'm a greener color of envy but all in all, that is an awesome addition to any collection! Sub'd and jealous!C6Z
