                                That oil filter was a bitch to get off. Ended up having to drive a screwdriver thru it just to break it loose.

                                    so glad its gone, fram has a very bad rep for lots of reasons.
                                    my car came w/a fram, and i didn't know about em, till someone showed me the results of a bad one..

                                    anyways.
                                    i have a special place for anyone who not only cleans their engine bay but also sands down and polishes the alloy parts...
                                    good job..
                                    nice to see it, even painted its awesome, i wondered on what mine would look like painted, and wonder, does yours have any clear coat on it? or just flat paint, i am worried about flaking.

                                    mine already got scratched, but i just sanded it back to clean again..

                                            Thanks. It's actually powder coated. The powder coat is really tough stuff. I'm thinking of doing some highlights with nail polish. Red on the black and black on the red. I have no idea if it will stick though. When I get around to doing it i'll put up another picture.
