I got the same car except mine is 4Matic for all weather commuting. I was thinking about Audi, 330xi or the Evo/STi but chose the Benz for smooth ride, comfort, ease of maintainance and interior room.

damn nukka! thats hotness right there. i'd say lose the AMG badge, but if benz put it there, i guess you're not that much of a poseur. i mean, it does have the appearance package. now bring it up to the bay so we can ghost ride that whip. and put our stunnar shades on of course.

It's missing the e55's brakes, so I'm gonna say that's a 430. I thought there was no such thing as an E430 AMG?

its a 430. the AMG was put there by MB because it has the appearance package.

Yes it’s a 430, the 55 sat comfortably outside my budget. Apparently when the original owner opted for the AMG sport package from the factory, AMG felt the need to slap the badge on the back. Theres a great 430 AMG debate on Benzword.org forums. I’ll most likely de-badge the whole car anyways.
