The paint is complete shit. Cracks everywhere, a nice dent in the rear, bondo cracks, paint runs, rust hole forming in rear apron and surface rust above tail lights. It would be sanded with 800 and then sanded with a scrubber pad for pantina look, then shot with satin clear to preserve everything till I can actually have time to paint and fix it.
It would only be temp while my truck gets done with its show quality paint..

But it y'all would like to chip in on the body fixing, then please donate.

I think he was referring to your comment about making the paint look "old and rusty". Why the f*ck would you do that?

The tires? Yes:( came off a slammed Honda. Gonna pick up a set of 205/50 so the stretch will be gone.

    Sooo here's an update.
Sold/traded my spacers for some parts I needed.
    Got the brush piece finally!

Changed out the high beam glass. Old one had a hole and miss growing inside.

    New one is perfect.

And old wiper motor. Feels great to have wipers again!

    Next things I'll order.
    New license plate lights
    New dome lights and brackets
Getting yellow wrap for the headlights and fog lights
That's it for now cause I'll be at the beach for a week and car will be in the garage while I'm there..

Also got my antenna delete plug and my hub rings so wheels are centered.

So I decided what I'm gonna do to the paint. It's gonna match my truck and only cost about $150.. But yesterday a rock on the interstate hit my high beam and busted it out and this morning a fuel line to pressure regulator is leaking. So gotta get that fixed. It's parked for now, picking up new wheels this afternoon.

Yesterday was good and bad.. Changed out all the broken mounts but the diff.. When doing the motor mounts, I thought I had enough room between the hood and intake.. I was wrong, so now it has pushed a dimple up in my perfect hood. Just another thing to add to the body to fix... I'm starting to think this car hates me more and more.

Did an oil change at work. Seems to run better and the oil was pretty nasty from the car just sitting for around 6 months. I'll do another in 2,000 miles just to make sure everything is cleaned out of the engine..
Also received my motor mounts, trans mounts, guibo, and poly bushing for rear diff yesterday from esc. Only took 3 days to get here. I'll be staying after work to get this stuff done.

    Got a little more done.
    Old seat belt receptacle:

    Now the newer one:

And the front grills in place:

Guess Sunday me and my dad will be spending the day hooking up the wipers on a toggle switch. Gonna run a relay and a fuse so the circuit will be safe.

So I'm lost cause I don't have a wiring diagram for the wipers.
But got a known good control unit and wiper stalk. Hooked stalk up and still didn't turn relay on. And I tried every option. Is there another fuse hidden somewhere or another relay? Cause the relay isn't clicking on with either stalk or control unit. So it has no power, if anyone has had same trouble can you please help or show me a diagram or pdf to download.

Now I got my anger out. Here's some small updates before I go back outside and tackle a couple more things.
    Exhaust is done

New sunroof crank instead of vice grips.

Painted my light grills. Top is painted, they look new now!

Can someone change the the title of this thread. I found a name for it.
The Gramps build. Since I'm told it looks like an older guy car. Any who, got the exhaust fixed and man is the car super quiet now on a stick muffler. But I like it.
Got lots of parts in today and yesterday. And I'll be taking pics of everything. So stay tuned for tonight!
