Okay seriously though, I do have plans for it, I do not plan on selling it anytime soon, I am too sentimentally attached to it. So even if it takes like four years, it'll happen.
I mean really, this is all it needs:
$85 - New fender (already have, needs to be painted)
$150 - New m-tech front spoiler (already have, needs to be repaired, and painted)
$2500 - Fresh paint
$1000 - Minor bodywork
$900 - Reupholster interior
$100 - New tierods
$2000 - fix automatic top (or $500-$1000 convert to manual)
$time - replace non-airbag pedal box with airbag pedal box
$250 - m-tech 2 steering wheel
$100 - new antenna mast and grommet
$50 - euro grills
$300 - new hood (c/f, maybe)
$??? - new top
$50 - misc. body clips for m-tech body kit
So about $8 grand and the car would be in Very Great condition!Last edited by 92 mtechnic cabrio; 08-13-2006, 01:11 PM.

OK fair enough . So its the old financial situation thing again that is so familiar with a lot of us .
It will be the shit when you can devote some $$ and time to bringing it back to its former luster .
Just spent some time swapping a fellow members M-Tech to a 5-spd and I think I really grew attached to it in the process .
Not really a Vert guy myself but I can see myself in a nice clean modded M-Tech one day .

at least I can say I'm not a hard parker, driving events are what have been helping me messing up my car! and plus they take the money I could be spending on looks, haha.
antenna and rubber grommet - salt flats
misc mtech body clips - salt flats
fenders - drifting events
new m-tech, bumper, fresh paint, bodywork, new headlights - canyon driving
new control arms and tie-rods - track days.
so you see, I've already got control arms and new headlights, so it's a slow and steady deal. As long as I'm fixing more than is being broken, I'm okay.
