New to the Forum and E30's

Hey, I have been wanting a E30 convertible for a while now, and it had to be manual tranny, so I starting searching and noticed that there a very few in decent shape to work with, but ended up finding this and bought it.

All suspension parts have been ordered, hopefully it will be installed and good to go in a week.

    Plans:
    - Swap interior with Black or Cardinal Red
    - Replace Dashboard
    - Suspension (H&R's and Bilstein)
    - All new suspension bushings
    - New motor mounts
    - Repair A/C
    - New wheels
    - Sound System
    - IS lip kit
    - Fresh paint (still deciding if keep stock color or paint black)

If you have any parts that I could use, please let me know, its a project that I want to do slowly and enjoy each process, but I know that some parts are no easy or cheap to come across, so let me know.

    UPDATE!!!

Installed the Bilsten Shocks and H&R race springs, the ride is really nice, but Im not digging how the back looks lower than the front!!! Any suggestions?

From the pictures provided the car looks to be in pretty good shape! If you eventually paint it, please please please don't paint it black. It would hurt my soul to see the Laguna Green become black ;) It sounds like you have a solid plan in store for this car. These forums are a huge wealth of information, should be a big help as you tackle these projects.

    That garage is epic!

In a couple years you'll have more than one e30 in that garage for sure. Nice can and like someone mentioned above don't paint that car any other Color. That's an awesome green!

NO COLOR CHANGE! Im not saying that because its laguna, its because if you don't do a full color change to include bay and jams, it will look like a$$. Looks like a nice start. Welcome aboard!

Ok, people seem more excited about the garage than the car, but the sad side of the story is that its not my garage, that's my father in law garage. If I was to do the color change I would do it right, but I don't dislike the Laguna green at all, I might keep the same color and just respray it to make it look fresh.

Its not completely bad, the leather is not ripped, its just opening where the stitches go.
These are the only pictures that I have that show somewhat the interior

Good looking car, great plans except for the paint, It would be a terrible idea to paint over such a rare color ! IMO

Try to polish it first by machine. My 25 y/o vert (never repainted) came out really good. Some "vintage touch" makes these old cars even look better.
