    1987 325is 5 Speed *Now on BAT!*

Hey guys, long time member here. I just listed my 1987 325is on Bring a Trailer as I'm getting married next month! I will miss this one. I thought this forum would be a good place to share some info and spread the word.

I picked up this car from an enthusiast in Alabama a few years ago and it is totally rust free. I can't imagine ever buying another New England car after seeing what a Southern car looks like!

    Here's the BaT listing:

Bid for the chance to own a 1987 BMW 325is 5-Speed at auction with Bring a Trailer, the home of the best vintage and classic cars online. Lot #2,197.

    Thanks!

Great news! I hope it brings you a good amount of cash to use on yourself. Not on the wedding! haha

            Good luck with the sale!

Reading the comments, they're a pack of picky whingers on BAT :)

The car looks neat and tidy for a daily drive - not so clean you'd never want to drive it. The tyres could use swapping, but so what?

How many neat original 325iS are out there without at a minimum some sort of lowering springs and Bilstein / Konis (which is the first thing I'd do if I bought it, but it's still good to see an original one)?

Thanks Luke! Yeah I knew that format would draw lots of comments, but had no idea I would be roasted on the tires!

              Auction ends tomorrow.

Car is cheap and being here in Northeast it's plain nuts.

Rich, I'd be bidding on it but alas my wife got me a slightly early retirement gift as I mentioned.

Thanks Greg! It wouldn't be fair to let you have all the good ones AND the E30 M3's anyway :)

$6,759 isnt bad, minus the cost of entry and you walk way with ~$6500... Pretty good

Not a bad price at all. Good deal for both parties.

I think it went for a fair price for both buyer and seller. Happy with the result, and more cash for the closing date.
