I gotta give mad props out to my man Kevin (Il Duce) for going to look at the car for me up in Berkeley cause I'm down in San Diego. Good Guy.

Like I said, I'm not totally sure about the color of the wheels. I've really been liking the Gold lately. It just contrasts with the black so well.

I'm not sure about 225/50/15 though. I'm currently running 205/60/15 and I think they are way to big. I put the rears on car first and it looked like a muscle car. There's just a little to much meat on there. Maybe 205/50/15 or 205/45/15. Does anyone have any pics of any of these sizes?

That's because 205/60 is way too tall. 225/50 would look awesome all around.

How do you take those wheels apart? I have the same ones but the lip is trashed. I need to know where to get a new lip, fasteners, and the special tool it takes to take them apart. Does anybody know?

Yeah, I agree. BBS RS's NEED huge lips, otherwise it's almost a waste of the wheel. Just get RZ's or Ronal LS if you don't want the wide look.

The car looks awesome, I can't believe how much you have improved it already. I can't wait to see what the end result looks like!

No special tool kit needed to take them apart or put them back together, except a Torque Wrench. This is the site I used to put my wheels back together, http://the-polisher.com/id6.html. And I highly recomend you have a friend help you torque the bolts, cause It's a bitch to do it yourself.

For the lip, you have to first figure out what kind of lips you have. If you have stock BBS lips, good luck. These are forged and stronger than any aftermarket lips you can get, but they are impossible to find. Basically you have to search the forums until a set goes up for sale.

If you have aftermarket you could have Kodiak, Image, or Schmidt lips.

                    www.rkimporting.com - For Schmidt, which I'm going with, 2"!!
www.imagewheels.co.uk/ - These are what are on my wheels- 1.5"

Or you could find your own company to completely custom make you lips.

I'm definitely goin with some deeper lips and semi stretched tires. I don't want some crazy VW streched tires, but definitely some deep wheels with low pro tires.

Still to come: Euro trim, smoked Ellipsods, IE Stg3 suspension, 2" or 2.5" Schmidt lips, strip the tint, 325i trunk lid (I think it looks cleaner), and what ever else I can think of.
