I wouldn't call myself a hypocrite, though. Swapping to plastics actually has very little to do with my not liking the actual bumpers themselves, it's the plastic shrouds around them that I'm fed up with. Maybe if they hadn't fabricated them out of such flimsy shit, the wouldn't be a problem. They never sit flat or flush against the bumper unless you buy them brand new. Mine are starting to warp in a couple of new spots, and the biggest thing is that once you tuck the bumpers, you're left with huge gaps at the sides, and at the top and bottom, mostly at the rear.
Josh, I was able to bring the sides of my surrounds in slightly, and stick one side of my surrounds to my bumper. I gotta do the other side at some point but its more warped.
But if you have plastics more power to you.
