New comer here. Meet my E30, Ruby!

Hey guys and gals! I've know about R3v for a long time now, and I thought I'd take the down time at work to introduce myself and my E30, Ruby.

My name is Levi. I live in Waco, Texas, and I'm into music production, PC gaming, guns, aviation (working on my multi engine rating currently), and of course my E30.

Anyways, I'm sure y'all are more interested in my E30 than myself lol. Ruby is a 1991 318i vert (M42 5 speed) with the 4.27 LSD. It's got Bilstein suspension, a flowmaster exhaust, and 16" BBS RX214 wheels. It's interior needs some work, and I need to replace the top because the window is crap and the roof leaks. Also, the fog lights don't work, and the window fuse will blow out if I move more than 2 windows simultaneously.

I really like the wheels. Almost every time I post a picture on the E30 subreddit, I get asked about the wheels, which I had previously misidentified as the BBS RG-Rs (I was young and dumb last week, cut me some slack!).

Thank you! I like them a lot as well...the only down side is trying to find an individual wheel that isn't too expensive to use as a spare tire. Currently, I'm rolling spareless

The lower lip you have on the front is from a Volvo. Its not something most of us appreciate. The OEM iS lip looks much better but the Volvo lip is a $5 junkyard item so people have been running them on E30s forever.

Few things I noticed was that the black trim is also a glossy black, where it should be a flat black. I would look into replacing it with Euro trim to eliminate those US sidemarkers.

Also, the fog lights arent mounted properly and are probably aftermarket or maybe thats just how the aftermarket fogs are.

Last thing, the BBS wheels are most likely for FWD VWs so they are probably et35, and could benefit with 10-15mm spacers. Thats also the place Id be looking to find a spare, somewhere like vwvortex

Theres 2 things to know about r3v. We like E30s and we like pics of your GF.... so you're off to a good start

Also I figured I would share. I used Imgur the first time the other day when I did my build thread and had problems getting my pics to post since they were to big. If you click "Edit" in Imgur on a picture and then change the first setting of the resolution to "1000" and leave the "lock proportions" checked it will auto resize it to a size that R3v allows and fits the screen well that you can embed directly.
