I was considering a knob similar to that, only the Spherical version. Does it get super hot? How about the polished finish, does it fingerprint/scratch really easily?
My brother used to have that shift knob, used it for a while and it started to dull a little bit. It would have been fine after a nice polish though. I gets hot but its not unbearable. They used those knobs in the skipbarber dodge cars 5 or so years ago. I personaly love it! I think its a perfect shift knob, I like the boot too but Id like to see a better picture of it. You have the ebrake boot to match?
Rob makes some quality stuff. My brother used to have a momo like
that and had to put a short sock on it in the summer.
I won't lie, Rob does make quality stuff, but when it comes to the suede, it does deteriorate and fade to brown after awhile. Not exactly his fault, but be cautious...

i personally don't like it because it was a little Big, i couldn't grip it aswell as the OEM anatomic one, and it just wasn't the right feeling.
I picked the chrome one because my father had this one in his e36 M:
I didnt want to be exactly the same, but i love the feeling of this knob in my hand. The one i have is also a pretty heavy knob.

I would actually prefer the one my father has, since it matches the other metal items i have in my interior, but his is 35$ more than mine, and this is r3v.
Shift knob looks good. Tell us about your cup holders.
I went into detail a while ago...this is my first one, the prototype: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=66032
I made another one that was shorter and fit right into the console (still using the cut console), with no exposed screws. my plan was to use the screws and just cover them up with the same type of material our consoles are skinned with, but i couldnt find the console skin material.
