Does being Eskimo bros with 2mAn at least give me some r3v street cred? Are there club meetings? I need help.

I’m trying to fix the oil leaks, so I started with the RMS... am I doing it right?

ok cool. I thought I should start with the valvecover gasket since I have had one for a while now, but I figured the RMS is a better place to start... slightly more of a pain to get to than changing the valvecover gasket though

Thanks guys! I cant take any credit here than sourcing all the parts, but even there I screwed up and was missing a few things still. Its pretty wonderful getting this done with nearly zero down time for me. I had Ian (E30335i) handle it for me while I was gone for the long weekend. He always gets it done quickly and always gets a few extra things done at the same time, for a price thats hard to beat. It certainly makes me appreciate the relationships Ive made here and though theres shops I will still support I love that I have my 'go-to' guy now

So this job included a barely used Sachs clutch & PP, lightened & resurfaced single mass flywheel, new Rear Main Seal, new CSB, a whole bunch of other minor parts that I posted earlier in the thread, but he also noticed how nasty my brake fluid was and took care of that too. The only thing I still need is a shift boot and Im working on that now.

For now I will work on my heel/toe action with my size 42 shoes

Yes, only problem now is Im looking at the M20 like, you're next...

Luckily its only going to get love, not swapped out. I probably went through half a dozen different motors in my head and got very little actual work done today, but I have come to the (current) conclusion that I want to build a 2.8L M20. Nothing more, nothing less. Im considering that stage3, and Im currently at stage 1. Stage 2 will be the thing I obsess over here, especially since my Datsun is closing in on completion too...

Stay tuned! I have some other plans too, but it will be more to make it a better daily driver. I think she has earned a bath, maybe its time to finally go wash it again. dirty E30 indeed

Betz's thread is definitely one that makes me want to build an m20 for something...or at least think harder about single cam straight 6's.

one day I'll have an m30 e30 coupe lol
