Cheers guys, it's been fun changing the look of the car over the years. it was a bit of a mess when I picked it up, but a great base to start with.

Thanks mate. I think for a car of this age the black trim pieces give much needed contrast to the car. Visually it breaks up the graphics and makes it look lighter and more purposeful. Colour matched trim pieces sometimes look good but usually make the car visually to heavy and mess up the cars proportions, especially the case with brighter colours. Each to their own though!

Haha 205! Would like a little more for the track, but I'm sure I'll get another set of wheels for next season.

Those front seats are my style.

            Very nice E30.

This fabric is stock in the 318is. You have the comfort seats and the sport seats. These are the sport seats which look so much better.

The 318is also has a black headliner (as far as I know only: red, silver and black have black, white and lazur blue have a gray headliner). Furthermore the 318is comes with a mtech 1 steering wheel and mtech shift knob.

              I love this car!

Wow, only 205. The treadwidth/sidewalls on thr 888 are pretty beefy which make them look wider than a standard 205.

Honestly 205 with a sticky compond like that is pretty good. 225 would be ideal though IMO. You need a lot of power to use more tire than that.

                Any engine bay shots??

Yeah thew R888 is an aggressive looking tire. 225 is a little too beefy looking for these little 15x7's i think. I was running 225/45/16 R888's on my last two sets of wheels (16x7.5) and there is a noticeable difference in grip with these 205's now.

This is as close to an up to date engine bay shot as I have, I'll have to snap some new ones.

M52B28 with an M50 intake manifold, s52 headers and an Eisenmann exhaust. Nothing crazy, but enough to do a sub 9minute lap of the Norschleife :P

You need to add the S52 cams.

Did you do a respray or is the paint original?

Interesting.. I must do research about this. Are there significant improvements to be had?

It's a total mix of original paint and resprays. I personally have resprayed the valences, but the hood, trunk and possibly more have also been resprayed at some point as well

Danke! The wheels are original e30 15" BBS. No adapters, just spacers. I think 8mm front and 12 or 15mm rear off the top of my head
